Every year we have a range of demos, tastings and talks from our exhibitors and local chefs. The full timetable will be announced nearer the time of the festival, so please check back.

The demo area is looked after by the wonderful Judith Lewis our resident Chocolate Expert. Judith runs her own Chocolate Blog called Mostly About Chocolate as well as running several social media pages relating to chocolate and food, reviews and writes for national publications and judges on the Grand Jury of the Academy of Chocolate Awards. In her spare time Judith also travels the world as an International Speaker, Trainer and Expert Online Marketing Consultant.

Saturday 16th November 2019:

11am

12pm

1pm – Andrew Baker author of From Bean to Bar: A Chocolate-Lover’s Guide to Britain will give a Chocolate Lover’s Virtual Tour of Britain, talking about some of the chocolate-makers he visited for his book and offering tastes of some of the lovely bars that they make.

2pm – Duffy’s Chocolate will be paired with a whisky, a rum and two ports!

3pm – Albert from 5D Chocolates will be doing a filled chocolates pairing with one white and one ruby port from Quevedo port from Portugal.

Sunday 17th November 2019:

11am – Charlotte Flower Chocolates will do a tasting of their chocolate

12pm – Chef Michel Nijsten will be demoing a dish incorporating chocolate, a savoury choccy combo…..Beet’s, chocolate and cheese….using local produce, Mr Moydens cheese, Bennet and Dunn rapeseed oil, Oat Pantry and purple potatoes from Gerrol Jalving to name a few.

1pm – Doormouse Chocolates: Taste the Difference Fermentation Makes. A taste and talk about how chocolate is made and how fermentation affects the final flavour of chocolate.

2pm – JK Fine Chocolates will be doing a chocolate and tea pairing with Char Teas based in Winchester. You’ll get to taste the delightful teas with carefully chosen complimentary chocolate.

3pm – Choc Amor will be doing a tasting across his chocolates
